Notes - Carol Ann Burnsworth, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2016 due to pulmonary fibrosis. She was born April 26, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, to Edward and Katherine Pokelwaldt.
Carol was a 1957 graduate of LaSalle High School and retired after 25 years of service from Harrison Division of General Motors in 1993.
She was an accomplished artist in painting and ceramics, loved to garden and was an avid football fan, especially the Buffalo Bills. Carol loved life and her true enjoyment was to be around family and friends and make them laugh.
Carol is survived by two daughters, Penny Colangelo and her spouse Kent, and Kim Burnsworth. Also surviving Carol are her two loving granddaughters, Genevieve and Aria Colangelo; her two sisters, Audrey Smith and Beverly Blaise; her niece Peggy Palmiter and partner Nancy Chandler; and nephew, Gary Palmiter.
