Gerhard W. Milleville, who loved to sing in various choirs, died in his home Monday (July 15, 1996) after a long illness.
The 81-year-old was a lifelong resident of this town, as well as a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
Milleville, of Maple Drive, worked in the business office at the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls for over 40 years and retired in the mid-1980s.
He enjoyed music, playing the piano and singing in various choirs in the area, including the Western New York Lutheran Men's Choir and the St. James Choir.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna J. of Montpelier, VT.; a brother, Albert of Sanborn; five sisters, Anna Moll and Louise Wendt, both of Bergholz, Sophia Schultz of North Tonawanda, Mabel Klemm of Wessington Springs, S.D., and Judith Stroble of Marion, OH.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery
