  Name at death record George August. Son of Ferdinand J. Haseley and Ernestine nee Rieman. Born March 19, 1891, Baptized Mar 26 here in St. Peter's. Confirmed June 18, 1905 by Rev. Edw. A. Grabau. Married April 30, 1911 to Helen Lange, who died Sep 12, 1913 (childbirth). Good health until July 1948, hardening of arteries and diabetes, right leg amputated twice. Recovered enough to be up and around, but full strength never returned. Last illness continued for 8 weeks, began with a stroke, lingered in great weakness for many weeks, longer than Aug. Walck (preceding). Survivors: 1 daughter Myra (Mrs. Norman Haseley), 3 grandchildren: Harold, Marie and Duane Haseley; 3 sisters: Mrs. Ida Pfohl, Miss Ella Haseley (Louise Eleonore Friedericke), Mrs. Rudolph C. Walck; 1 brother Erich F. Haseley, nieces and nephews. Only English in Church. Text Rom. 8:14-18. (Rom. 8:17,18 was his Confirmation verse.) Died in the house where he was born. Norman Haseley's and his sister Ella made their home with him. April 15 was Third Sunday after Easter
