- Duane A. Haseley, age 77 of the Town of Lewiston, NY, was called to his heavenly home on February 4, 2025, while under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Born on March 3, 1947 in the Town of Lewiston, NY, he was the son of Norman and Myra Haseley. Duane was a 1965 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. Duane was employed as a carpenter at Keller Technology in the Town of Tonawanda for 34 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, was a Buffalo Bills fan, and enjoyed the time spent with his grandson.Survivors include his wife, Gretchen Haseley; two children, Rachel (John) Gansworth, and Ryan Haseley; a brother, Harold Haseley; and grandson, Grant Gansworth. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie LaPress.Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday (February at 11:00 a.m. in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, where Pastor Walter Printup, will be officiating. Family will be present an hour before the service, to greet visitors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice.
