NT native was World War II vet
BERGHOLZ - Robert O. Schultz, 62, of Bergholz died yesterday (March 7, 1984) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after being stricken at home, with an apparent heart attack. A native of North Tonawanda, Schultz served during World War II with the Army Air Corps. He lived in Bergholz since 1950 and had worked in the maintenance department at the International Filler Corp. in North Tonawanda for 43 years, retiring last August due to illness. He was a member of the Sikora Post American Legion in North Tonawanda, Survivors include his wife, Alice (Loeschke); a Son, Robert W. of Rochester; a daughter, Deborah Mason of Niagara Falls; a brother, Edmund Schultz of Elma, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline McAllister of Hamlin, N.Y., and Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Fura of North Tonawanda; and a granddaughter. He was the brother of the late Charles Schultz. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road Sanborn. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery. Contributions to the charity of one's choice are acceptable as tribute.
