- Lillian H. DuBois, age 96 of the Town of Niagara, was called to her heavenly home on March 25 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Daughter of Adolph and Hulda (Beutel) DeVantier. Predeceased by her husband, Edwin DuBois on December 27, 1985. Lillian was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore, and an active member of the quilting group. She also served as a Town of Niagara Election Inspector for 40 years. Surviving are four children, Judy (Gerard) Baribeau of Toronto, ON, Grant (Mary) DuBois of Atlanta, GA, Glenn (Carolyn) DuBois of Niagara Falls and Mark (Diana) DuBois of Elko, NV; a sister, Edna Walck of Sanborn; seven grandchildren, Kari (Todd) Birchfield, Jenna (Chris) Tenaglia, Lilyanne DuBois, Katherine (Taylor) Housworth, David, Jonathan and Anna DuBois; two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by a brother, Bert DeVantier. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Corky Spitler, on Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Wheatfield. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
