  Niagara Gazette - 4/16/1953 NORTH TONAWANDA, April 16 — Mrs. Helena Thiele, widow of Henry Thiele. Sr.. Shaw nee road, Town of Wheatfield, died late yesterday afternoon in DeGraff Memorial hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Thiele was a lifelong resident of the town and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Douglas Hartman. Mrs. Gordon Haseley. Miss Olga Thiele and Miss Irene Thiele; two sisters. Mrs. Charles Middlesteadt and Mrs. Herman Sommer. all of North Tonawanda. She was a sister of the late William Sommer. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home. The Rev. Theophilus Berner will officiate. Burial will be in White Chape! Memorial park cemetery.
