Lily E. Peter (Haseley) Was a Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church
Lily E.. Peter (Haseley) age 81 of Guilderland, New York formally (sic) of Sanborn, New York, Sunday April 20, 2003 in Albany, New York after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Peter was born on March 19, 1922 in the Town of Lewiston to the late Eric (sic) Haseley and Lily (Walck) Haseley. Mrs. Peter was a laborer at Continental Can in the Town of Wheatfield for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church (Old Falls Blvd.) and, the wife of the late Donald C. Peter who died in July of 2000. Dear Mother of Karen (Duane) Stenzel of Albany, New York and Wayne (Hope), Peter of Atlanta, Georgia. Grandmother of Natalie Stenzel and Jonathan Peter; Sister of Alfred, (Hazel) Haseley of Sanborn, New York and Pearl DeVantier of Niagara Falls New York. (She is) also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. North Tonawanda Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7~9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd. In North Tonawanda. The Rev. Karl Haeussler will officiate. Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, North Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
