- WILLIAM A. WALCK
SANBORN - William A. Walck, 81, of Saunders Settlement Road, was pronounced dead on arrival Wednesday (March 20, 1974) at Memorial Medical Center after being stricken with an apparent heart attack. He was a native of the Town of Wheatfield and had operated a farm in Saunders Settlement Road for most of his life. He was a life member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, where he had held various positions. He was also on active member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau and its Extension Service. He was predeceased by his wife, Selma, who died in 1968. Survivors include a son, Edgar; two daughters, Mrs. William (Ira sic)) Haseley and Mrs. Ralph (Gladys) DeVantier, all of this community; two brothers, Rudolph and Hubert Walck, both of Sanborn; a sister, Mrs. John (Agnes) DeVantier of Niagara Falls, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold Baum officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Contributions to the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church fund will be acceptable as tribute, the family said.

Father of Edgar Walck, Mrs. William (Irma) Haseley, Mrs. Ralph (Gladys) DeVantier, all of Sanborn. Brother of Rudolph and Hubert Walck, both of Sanborn, Mrs. John (Agnes) DeVantier of Niagara Falls.
