  NF Gazette Rose A. Walck Belonged to Lutheran church. SANBORN - Rose A. Walck, 86, of Lockport Road, a native of the Town of Niagara, died Friday (May 1, 1987) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late William and Matilda (Pfohl) DeVantier. Mrs. Walck had lived in the Wheatfield area for most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Church Women, and the Town of Wheatfield Senior Citizens. She and her husband, Philip C. Walck, who died in 1980, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 1977. She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Kroening and Mae Behrens of Sanborn, and seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Rhoney Funeral Home Inc., 5893 Hoover Road. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wheatfield, with the Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions to the Lutheran Vespers or St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund are acceptable as tribute.
