  NF Gazette Mrs. Albert Kroening SANBORN-Mrs. Albert (Lizzie) Kroening, 65, of 3149 Lockport Road, died Thursday, (March 16, l961) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Niagara, July 13, 1901, She was a daughter of Ferdinand and Wilhelmina Haseley and had lived in this area, all her life. She was a life member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and a member of the Women of the Church organization. Mrs. Kroening was the widow of Albert E. Kroening Sr., well known area farmer who died in 1965. Survivors include three sons, Clarence, Edgar and Albert Kroening Jr., all of Sanborn; three sisters, Mrs. Philip (Emma) Fahrnwald, Sanborn, Mrs. Edwin (Lily) DeVantier, and Mrs. Carl (Viola) Milleville, both of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Anthony Haseley, Lockport, and Hubert Haseley, Niagara Falls, and eight grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Saturday and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where services will be conducted by Rev. Alfred W. Walck. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. The family said contributions to the Lutheran Vespers radio program will be acceptable as tributes.
