Martha E. DeVantier Was Active In St. James Church
WHEATFIELD - Martha E. (Haseley) DeVantier, 69, of Cayuga Drive Extension, died Saturday (Dec. 13, 1986) in Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo. She was born in Sanborn and was the daughter of the late Edward and Hulda (Walck) Haseley. Mrs. DeVantier was a member of St. James Church and was an active member of St. James Women of the Church. She is survived by her husband, Gerhard W. DeVantier; a son, Gary L. DeVantier of North Tonawanda; daughters, Connie Washburn of North Tonawanda and Marcia A. DeVantier of Niagara Falls; sisters, Helen Kroening and June Camann, both of Sanborn; a brother, Chester Haseley of San. born; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Martin Haseley. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz, Town of Wheatfield. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. James Church with the Rev. David B. Menz officiating. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions to St. James Church or to Lutheran Vespers are acceptable as tribute.
