  Max F. Haseley Gazette County employee retired in 1980 TOWN OF LEWISTON - Max F. Haseley. who retired from the Niagara County Highway Department in 1980, died in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Tuesday (Feb. 16, 1988). Haseley, 70, pf Saunders Settlement Road, was a native of the Town of Lewiston and a longtime member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sanborn. He is survived by his wife, Irma H. Haseley; a son, David Haseley of Sanborn; daughters, Diane Frerichs and Shirley Walck, both of Niagara Falls; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell. Burial will be at church's cemetery. Contributions to the church's memorial fund are acceptable as tribute.
