- WALTER H. FRITZ
TONAWANDA - Walter H. Fritz, 76, of 1801 Elwood Ave., died unexpectedly Thursday (June 24, 1971) at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo. He was a life-long resident of this city and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mr. Fritz, a World War I Army veteran, was a member of Stephen Sikora Post 1522 American Legion, the Rescue Fire Company, the Firemen's Benevolent Association and the New York State Retirement Association. He is survived by his widow, the former Leona Broecker; a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Wurl of Niagara Falls; a son, Gordon Fritz of this city; five sisters, Mrs Albert Strassburg, Mrs Charles Kaminski, Mrs. John Zastrow, Mrs. Henry Ellman and Mrs. Joseph Gorman; four brothers, Alfred, Carl, Arthur and Glenn Fritz, all of this city, eight grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday at the Wattengel Funeral Home with the Rev Enno A. Schmoock officiating. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
