  Niagara Falls Gazette, Oct 12, 1940 RUTH HASELEY, 7 old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Haseley, of the Saunders Settlement road, met a tragic death 15 years ago today when she was run over by an automobile in front of her home. The child and her small sister. Elizabeth, had ridden home from school on a motor truck driven by their uncle, Chris Haseley. When they reached home, Ruth jumped from the truck into the path of a car driven by Professor J B. Dandeno. of Toronto, Ont.. and was instantly killed before the horrified eyes of her sister and her uncle. Besides her parents and sister, she was survived by a brother Edwin.
