  Winnes Walter F., age 90 of Minneapolis, was called home to be with the Lord on November 19. He is survived by beloved wife of 57 years, Martha. Loving father of children, Larry (Janice) Winnes, Mary Ann (John) Ashmead, David (Jan) Winnes, and Donald (Lynnae) Winnes. Loving grandfather to 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his godly life, his warm personality, his love for God's creation, and his beautiful bass voice. Service 11:00 Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5212-41st Ave. S, Minneapolis. Visitation 5-8 pm Monday at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield, and one hour prior to service at church. Interment at Ft. Snelling.
