Ex-Lockport Man Dies In Coast Crash
LOCKPORT - A former Lockport man was killed in an automobile accident Sunday (Feb. 14, 1965) while returning to his home in Corvallis, Ore., after a weekend drill with the Air Force Reserve at Portland, Ore. He was Capt. Arnold F. Haseley, 33, an associate professor at Oregon State University, while he was studying for his doctor's degree. He was a graduate of Purdue University, Mr. Haseley attended Lockport High School and graduated from North Tonawanda High School. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Corvallis, and was Sunday school superintendent.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dana Alexander Haseley, and three children, Debra, Randall and Kristen Haseley, all of Corvallis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis S. Haseley, Lockport; four sisters, Lydia Haseleyy, Lockport, Mrs. Mildred Hajazi, Beirut, Lebanon, Mabel Haseley. Chicago, and Ruth Haseley, Anchorage Alaska; two brothers, Gordon Haseley, Lockport, and Rev. Louis Haseley, Hialeah, Fla. Funeral service arrangements are incomplete

Rites Set For Victim Of Crash
NORTH TONAWANDA- Full military honors will be accorded to Capt. Arnold F. Haseley, 33, of Corvallis, Ore., formerly of Lockport Road, Town of Pendleton, who was fatally injured in an auto accident Sunday night near Salem, Ore.
The family and friend's will gather at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Old Falls Boulevard, for a procession to White Chapel Memorial Park for burial. Rev. Luther Knauff, pastor of St. Martin's Church, will conduct a prayer service.
Participating in the military rites will be members of the 4621st Support Group, Niagara Falls Air Force Base. Capt. Haseley was a member of the Air Force Reserve in Oregon and was an instructor at Oregon State University.
Survivors include his widow, the former Dana Alexander of East Aurora, and a son Randall and two daughters, Debra and Kristen, in Corvallis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Haseley, Lockport; two brothers, Pendleton Peace Justice Gordon Haseley and Rev. Louis Haseley, Hialeah, Fla., and four sisters, Linda Haseley, Lockport, Mrs. Ihsan (Mildred) Hijasi; Beirut, Lebanon; Mabel Haseley, Chicago, and Ruth Haseley, Anchorage, Alaska.
