- Grace Lingenfelter Obituary
Of Niagara Falls, NY and Ellenton, FL passed away November 25, 2024. Grace was born on August 16, 1931 in Niagara Falls, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Maryjane (Cushman) Haseley.
Grace attended local schools. She married the late Philip Hottot on December 12, 1951. Grace is survived by 4 children: Marlene (Steven) Richards Philip (Bridget) Hottot, Larry (Nancy) Hottot, Darlene (late Richard) Wall, 8 grandchildren: Steven(Karin) Richards, Michael (Crystal) Richards, Marcella & Gabriella Hottot, Ashley Ryan & Wesley Hottot, Tonja Keller & Albert Smith. 8 great-grandchildren: Jacob & Kiera Richards, Michael Richards, Maya Hottot, Felix Hottot, Renay Smith, Konner & Jacob Keller & Aiden Lincoln.
She worked for the Niagara Wheatfield School District for 20 years, retiring in 1985. At that time, she moved to Florida where she loved working outside in her yard year round. She returned to the Falls every summer to spend time with her family.
She was a member of Niagara No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary; she was active in the Niagara Wheatfield Non-Instructional Association, serving as President of the union. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at the convenience of the family.
