Notes - Hazel Ecker Haseley, formerly of Hamlet, IN died at 10 pm Thursday at the Bremen Healthcare Center, where she had lived since February 1995. She was born on Feb 2, 1919 in Walkerton, IN to Benjamin and Myrtle Crires Ecker, and had lived in this area her entire life. She was a loving and devoted wife. mother, and grandmother. Hazel retired from teaching school in 1984 after 34 years of service in the community. She was a member of the Blissville Church of the Brethren, Tyner, IN. the National Education Association., and the Indiana Teachers Association. ON Dec 23, 1944 she married Herbert A. Haseley, who preceded her in death on Sept 21 , 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Nabholz of Bremen, IN., three sons, Paul (Doris) Haseley of Argos, IN, Carl Haseley of Hamlet, and Timothy (Melanie) Haseley of ...SouthBend Tribune
