  Elsie Jagow, NF Gazette Sanborn-Elsie H. Jagow, 76, of 6245 Ward Road, died Sunday (Dec. 26, 1965) in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after a month's illness. She was the widow of Albert Jagow who died in 1963. She was born May 12, 1889, in the town of Wheatfield, daughter of Frank and Augusta Walck Retzlaff. In 1910, she was married and the couple operated a farm at the Ward Road address until her husband's death. Mrs. Jagow was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore and of the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Gertrude) Pfuhl, Niagara Falls; a son, Herbert Jagow, Sanborn; five grandsons and two great-grandsons. Another daughter, Mildred Jagow, died in August of this year. Services will be held at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home here at 2 P.M., followed by additional rites at St. Peter's Lutheran Church at 2:30, Donald G. Rehkopf officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7-9 P.M. The family said donation to St. Peter's Lutheran Memorial Fund or Lutheran Vespers will be acceptable as tributes.
