Bergholtz Native Lived Life In Area
Lydia (Buerger) Werth, of Saunders Settlement Road, died Thursday (Jan. 31, 1985) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital. She was 82. Born in Bergholtz, she was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She was a member of St. Paul Calvary Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kermit (Janice) Haseley of Sanborn; sisters, Mrs. Walter (Gertrude) Holland and Mrs. Donald (Esther) Toellner, both of Niagara Falls; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Fred C. Werth. who died in 1970. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Cornell & Daggett Chapel Inc.. South Avenue and 10th Street. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Calvary Lutheran Church, 18th Street and Cleveland Avenue, with Rev. Albert R. Laese officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholtz. Contributions to St. Paul Calvary Lutheran Church are acceptable as tribute.
