  BRUSS -Gerald H. Bruss, 78, of the Town of Wheatfield, Sunday, July 4, 1982, in Mt. St. Mary Hospital in Lewiston after a lengthly illness. He was a life long resident of The Town of Wheatfield and he had operated the Bruss Service Station for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Gertrude L. (nee Schultz) Bruss; a son Gilbert (Nancy) Bruss of North Tonawanda; a daughter Mrs. William ( Jocelyn ) Rafter of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Erna Mielke and Mrs. Elfreda Decker of Niagara Falls; son of the late Rev. Otto C. Bruss; a brother of the late Rolland W Bruss and Aerial Greinert. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., N.T. Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held in St. James Lutheran Church, Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Rev. John H Crilley will officiate. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or Lutheran Vespers.
