ST. GEORGE - A Funeral Mass for Mildred C. "Millie" La Montagne, 03, formerly of St. George, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Catholic Church, where she was a longtime member. Rev. Kenneth Yarno will officiate.
Burial will be in the St. George Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Merkle Knipprath Catholic Home or to Iroquois County Hospice.

She died Saturday (Dec. 13, 2003) at the Merkle-Knipprath Catholic Church in Clifton, where she had been a resident for the past nine years.
Mrs. La Montagne retired from Roper Corp. in 11975 after 32 years of service.
She was born Aug. 2, 1910, in St. George, the daughter of Felix and Mine Matthew Belisle.
Her husband, Everest G. "EG" La Montagne, whom she married Aug. 2, 1930, at St. George Catholic Church, died June 6, 1982.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Dorothy La Montagne of Springfield, Kenneth and Joy La Montagne of Limestone Township; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Earl Datweiler of Herscher; and six grrandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Shirlee Heddith; two sisters, Edna Benoit, Marie Rivard; and two brothers, Len Belisle and Leroy Belisle, are deceased.
She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality at her church.
