Leroy J. Milsap
Leroy J. Milsap, age 78, of North Tonawanda, died February 7, 2009, in Roswell Park Cancer Institute, after a brief illness. Leroy was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked as a Chemical Analyst at DuPont Chemical, Niagara Falls, retiring in 1992. He had served on the Board of Directors of Niagara Lutheran Health System and was a member and past President of St. Martin Lutheran Church. He had also been an active member of the former St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.Beloved husband of Jean (nee Vallett) Milsap; loving father of Wendy (Keith) Lange and Robert (Tiffany) Milsap, both of Wheatfield. Grandfather of Scott (Denise), Jeffrey (Jaime), Aaron and Athena; great-grandfather of Marissa, Matthew, Bridgette and Abby. Brother of Thomas (June) Milsap of Rock Ledge, FL; uncle of several nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM from St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd., in North Tonawanda, the Rev. Devie Ellis will officiate.
