Anna R. Pfohl Ex-Carborundum inspector.
Anna R. (Mueller) Pfohl, of the Town of Lewiston, an inspector at Carborundum for 13 years, died Tuesday, (Oct. 2, 1984), in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, following a long illness. She was 78. A native of Niagara Falls, she attended local schools and was employed as an inspector in the Small Wheels Department at Carborundum. Survivors include her husband, Gustav N. Pfohl; sons, Lawrence, of Sanborn; and Walter, of Lockport; brothers, John Mueller and Benjamin Mueller, and a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Lydia) Stoelting, all of Wheatfield; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today at the DuBois Funeral Home, 8904 S. Military Road. Services will be held at 2 p.m., tomorrow at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, with the Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions to St. Peter's Memorial Fund are acceptable as tribute.
