  NF Gazette Mrs. Kroening Dies Mrs. William Kroening (nee Bertha Pfuhl) well known in this village, died in Memorial Hospital Saturday night, after a serious operation. She was sixty one years old, and is survived by her husband, William Kroening, one son William, and daughter Edna at home and Mrs. Hugo De Vantier of Niagara Street, this village, three grandchildren, four brothers, Ferdinand of Holcottsville (sic), N. Y., John, Anton and Albert of Walmore, and four sisters, Mrs. Christian Wolf Sr., of this village, Mrs. Carl Haseley, Mrs. William De Vantier Sr. and Mrs. Anna Kroening of Walmore. She was well liked by all and leaves a wide circle of friends.
