- Carol Marlene Pfohl, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Absolute Care of Gasport. Born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin on September 6, 1936 to George Frederick and Ethel Alma (Plautz) Bohl. She was raised on the family dairy farm in Sampson WI. Carol met Philip Wilhelm Haseley Jr. through friends while he was deer hunting in the area. They were married on May 20, 1956 at Calvery Lutheran Church in Abrams, WI. She moved to the Sanborn area and worked on the family dairy and vegtable farm. They were blest with two children. Philip passed away in February of 1967. She married Max David Pfohl on February 14, 1971. They were blest with two children. Carol worked various jobs throughout her life, including Wagner's Fruit Market, and was a preschool aide for St. Peter's Lutheran School. She also won the top Avon sales rep for the Sanborn area in the 1980's. Carol was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she served on various committees over the years, including Alter Guild, and Sunday School Superintendent. She was affectionately known as Mootsie by her family.Survivors include three sons, Robert P. Haseley and David C. Pfohl of Sanborn, James J. (Jessica) Pfohl of Tallahassee, FL; a daughter, Judy C. Long; and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Michelle Long; plus several nieces and nephews.A graveside service, officiated by the Rev. Kurt Jensen, will take place on Friday, November 1st. at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, or school. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.
