- William A. Andrees "Bill"Age 99, of the Town of Porter, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home on November 3, 2022, at his residence. Bill was the son of the late William C. and Florence (Heschke) Andrees, the brother of the late Edward W. (Arlene) Andrees and the late Virginia (Richard) Lemke. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dolores (Moll). He lived most of his life in the Town of Wheatfield and was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church serving as Elder and Treasurer. He was a member of the Adams Fire Company and in the past served as Chairman of the Town of Wheatfield Planning Board. Bill spent most of his career in the automobile business as a salesman at Lampe Motors and J.C. Stevens and Parts Manager at Muck Motors. He also worked at Wurlitzer as a draftsman, at Curtiss-Wright during World War II on the P-40 and C-46 airplanes, and at Bell Aerospace as an Expeditor. Bill’s greatest source of joy and pride was his family. He is survived by two sons Gary W. (Gail) Andrees of East Amherst, NY, David L. (Marianna) Andrees of North Tonawanda, NY, and a daughter Susan B. (Michael) Kenyon of the Town of Porter, NY; also surviving are four granddaughters Christy Andrees, Gina Andrees, Natalie Cave and Bethany (Michael) Owczarczak; four great-grandchildren Carlton Carter, Rileigh Dunn, Liam Cave, Lucas Owczarczak and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, in Wheatfield on Thursday, November 10 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 12 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 6950 Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
