Notes - Donald R. Slusser, 82, of the Town of Niagara, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed from this life on Monday, June 20, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, NY. Born on August 27, 1933 in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of the late Attwood and Florence (Matchek) Slusser.
Donald is survived by his wife, Sandra J. (Haseley) Slusser and several nieces, nephews and cousins and many brother and sister-in-laws. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. Interment, concluding with military honors, will be held in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz, NY.
