- Deborah J. “Debbie” (DeBan) Haseley, 56, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family, on Friday, March 22, 2019 at her residence. Born on August 14, 1962 in Lewiston, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry G. and Jeannette (Faddoul) DeBan. On November 21, 1987, Debbie married Brent W. Haseley in Prince of Peace Church.
Debbie was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1980. She also earned her Associates Degree in Computer Science from Alfred State and Bachelors Degree in Business Commerce, Masters Degree in Education and her Masters in Business Administration all from Niagara University. Debbie was employed as an Operations Trade Specialist working for Moog Aerospace and Defense Company. She was a strong woman in her faith and had a deep relationship with her Lord, Jesus; always selfless, thinking of others and a true disciple, daily walking with Jesus and compelling others to do the same. Debbie was a communicant of Prince of Peace Church and a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. Debbie enjoyed quilting, painting, traveling with her family and crafts. Above all, as the “matriarch,” loved spending time with Brent and her boys.
In addition to her beloved husband, Debbie is survived by sons, Brent M., Keith and Kasey Haseley; siblings, Harry Michael DeBan, Marsha (Sylvester) Smith, III, Denis (Marion) DeBan, Gary DeBan, Armand DeBan, Cynthia (Tom) Falzone and Donna (Joseph) Maggard; her in-laws, the Haseley family and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by a sister, Karen DeBan.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, March 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz, NY. Everyone please assemble at church. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R. Goodlander.
