- Ronald Dean LaMontagne, 79, successfully passed through the narrow door to heaven Nov. 25, 2010. Graveside services were held in St. George for the immediate family. Cremation Society of Illinois was in charge of arrangements.
He was born Sept. 10, 1931, in St. George, the son of Everest G. and Mildred Belisle LaMontagne.
Surviving are his wife, Dorthy Dwyer LaMontagne; daughters, Ronda (Mrs. Tom Frederick), of Jacksonville, Lori (Mrs. Daniel Krause), of Springfield; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister, Lynda (Mrs. Earl Datweiler), of Herscher; and brother, Kenneth (Joy) LaMontagne, of Kankakee.
