  Anton A. Beutel Gazette Lockport Bureau - 10/12/1970 LOCKPORT - Anton A. Beutel, 86, of 2668 Beebe Road, Town of Newfane, died Sunday (Oct. 11, 1970) at Mount View Hospital after a three-month illness. He was born Feb. 1, 1884 in Wheatfield. He had operated a farm at the Beebe Road address for 54 years. Mr. Beutel was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ of this city. He was the husband of the late Minnie R. Kruger Beutel, who died in 1963. Survivors include a son, Melvin K. (Tony) Beutel of Newfane, and a sister, Mrs. Ella Behm of Tonawanda. Also several nieces and nephews survive. Friends may call at their convenience at the Gaul Funeral Home, 263 East. Ave., where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Richard Scheffler will officiate. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
