NORTH TONAWANDA-
Daniel F. Whitcher, 62, of
577 E. Thompson St., died
Sunday (Jan. 30, 1966) in
DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Lockport
and lived in Whcatfield before
moving here nine years
ago. He was employed by
the Spalding Fiber Corp. as
a machine operator.
Mr. Whitcher was a member
of Redeemer Lutheran
Church, the Lulhcr Laymen's
League of the church,
Adams Fire Co., a life member
of the New York State
Volunteer Firemen's Association
and a member of
Local 2106. International
Association of Machinists.
Survivors i n c l u d e his
widow, the former Evalyn
Beutel; two sons. Robert W.
Whitcher, this city, and Orvine
F. Whitcher, Temple
City, Calif.; a "daughter,
Mrs. Leonard Kelly, Niagara
Falls; two brothers,
Charles Whitcher, Niagara
Falls, and Hiram Whitcher,
Lockport. and a sister, Mrs.
Charles Foster, Lockport.
Friends may call from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattcngcl
Funeral Home, where
services will be conducted
at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday,
Rev. Robert H. Pose officiating.
