Services for Carl H. Gross, an employee of Case Pipeline Corp. who also operated a farm, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda.
Gross, 53, died late Saturday (July 27, 1991) when his car plunged into the Erie Canal in Pendleton.
He was born in Buffalo and worked for Case Pipeline in Gasport. He was a member of Local 17 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marlyn Wendt; two daughters, Cindy Ludwig of Amherst and Beth Klein of Bolivar; a son, Carl S.; his mother, Rosina Gross of Wheatfield; a brother, David of Wilson, and two grandchildren.
