LOCKPORT —
Albert N. Green of Lockport, NY, life partner of Dawn Wollaber, entered into rest, suddenly, on Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane, NY. He was born in Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada, January 26, 1958. The son of the late Norman and Norma Johnson Green.
He was a veteran of US Army and served his country from 1977-1978. He just retired from Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Facility. Al has lived in the Newfane-Wilson area all his life. He enjoyed painting, golfing, fishing, walking his dogs, playing cards and traveling to visit his family.
Father of Jennifer (Kenny) Haylett of Albion, NY, and Michael Green of South Carolina. Step-father of Stephanie (Ray) Ball of Newfane, Stacy Wollaber of Lockport and Terri Waterbury of Syracuse, NY. Grandfather of Kaydence Haylett, Ashley, Whitney, Terrell, James, Nickolas, Kali and Mea. Brother of Marilyn (Ron) Smith of Hamburg, NY, Mary Harrington of Canada and the late David Green. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY, on SUNDAY from 2-6 PM, where funeral services will be held on MONDAY at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Garlow Cemetery, Six Nations, Ontario, Canada. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Dr., Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family.
