  NF Gazette DEVANTlER RITES HELD Old Resident of Bergholtz District Laid to Rest at Walmore BERHOLTZ (sic), April 6 -A number of friends and relatives from this village attended the funeral services for William DeVantier, 79, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence on Lockport Road and at 2:30 o'clock from St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward F. Grabau officiated. Mr. DeVantier was the husband of Matilda Pfuhl, father of Mrs. Philip Haseley, Adolph DeVantier, William DeVantier and Mrs. Philip Walck, all of Walmore; brother of Albert DeVantier, of St. Johnsburg, and Mrs. Auguste Kroening, also of Walmore. He was the father of the late Albert DeVantier, of Walmore, who was electrocuted at his home last Fall, when he came in contact with a live wire and killed instantly.
