TOWN OF NIAGARA - Gladys (DeVantier) Milleville. 64. of Lockport Road, died Sunday (Oct. 5 1997) at Lockport Memorial Hospital.
She was born in the Town of Niagara on Nov. 15, 1932. the daughter of Albert and Christine (Hoffmeister) DeVantier.
On June 7. 1958. she married Donald Milleville in St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
From 1950 to 1959. she worked as a secretary at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
An active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the choir and the Women of the Church group. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
In addition to her husband. she is survived by four sons. Thomas Milleville of Sanborn. Joel Milleville and Todd Milleville. both of the Town of Niagara. and Deron Milleville of Columbus. Ohio: a daughter. Barbara Milleville of Marietta, Ga.: a brother. Elmer DeVantier of Pekin; a sister. Lydia Mueller of the Town of Niagara: two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter. Beth Milleville. and a brother. Norman DeVantier. Visitation Will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the DuBois Funeral Home. 24:J6 Niagara Road. Bergholz. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Walmore Road. Wheatfield, with the Rev. Milan J. Slahor officiating, Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Entrance Fund.

Gladys Milleville, an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and a longtime Sunday school teacher, died Sunday (Oct. 5, 1997) in Lockport Memorial Hospital. She was 64.
The former Gladys DeVantier, who lived on Lockport Road, was born in the Town of Niagara.
She worked as a medical secretary from 1950 to 1959 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Mrs. Milleville was involved in teaching Sunday school, was a member of the choir and of the Women of the Church group at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Wheatfield.
She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; four sons, Thomas of Sanborn, Deron of Columbus, OH, and Joel and Todd; a daughter, Barbara of Marietta, Ga.; a brother, Elmer DeVantier of Pekin; a sister, Lydia Mueller; and two grandchildren.
