Services for Wilbert "Wimpy" Schimschack, a retired custodian for Niagara-Wheatfield School District, will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Luther Street. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.
Schimschack, 74, of Schultz Street died Friday (Jan. 6, 1995) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness.
He had worked at the former Bergholz Garage, where he was part owner, and at Bell Aircraft. He worked as a custodian for the Niagara-Wheatfield School District until retiring in 1979.
He was an exempt member of the Bergholz Volunteer Fire Department, serving more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen L. Kroening; two sisters, Irma DeVantier and Eunice Heuer; and two brothers, Donald of North Tonawanda and Alvin.
The Bergholz Volunteer Fire Department will hold a memorial service at 7 P.M. today in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road.
