  Darrell 'Buddy' Blank, age 76 of Sanborn, NY, was called to his heavenly home on January 12, 2017 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Son of the late John and Irma (DeVantier) Blank.  Darrell was employed for 55 years in the Carpenters Union- Local 280, Buffalo, NY. He loved spending time at his cabin, was an avid hunter, enjoyed his bluegrass music, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda.  Beloved husband of Nancy (Wright) Blank for 53 years; father of Jonathan (Prudy) and Steven (Carol) Blank; three grandchildren, Katie (Ryan) Sidoti, Jessica and Michael; brother of Dianne (Ken) Retzlaff; and brother-in-law of Brenda Sorto.  Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 PM in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
