- William E. Stuckwisch, age 72, of the Town of Pendleton, May 5, 2017 in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Stuckwisch was a teacher at Grand Island High School for 34 years, retiring in 2002. He taught voluntarily at Martin Luther Christian School for one year and had served as the Chairman of the school board. He was an active member of First Trinity Lutheran Church and had volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. Beloved husband of Nancy (DeVantier) Stuckwisch. Dear father of Erica (Christopher) Fire and Wade Stuckwisch. Brother of Stephen (Frances) Stuckwisch, David (Nancy) Stuckwisch, Deborah (Kevin) Boatright, and Stephanie Stuckwisch; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 A.M. from First Trinity Lutheran Church, 1570 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Trinity Lutheran Church.
