- MEYERS - George W. Meyers. 64, of 9625 Pine Ave,, Niagara Falls, Wednesday (Dec 13, 1972) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Born in Tonawanda. NY., he had lived in Niagara Falls 30 years, Mr Meyers was a crane operator for the Union Carbide Corp, for 34 years, retiring oneyear ago. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Meyers; one son. Norman and one daughter. Miss Lesley Meyers, both of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Joseph of North Tonawanda and William of Snyder, NY.; four sisters, Mrs, Elizabeth Lewis and Mrs. Louise Redick. both of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Emma Shamrock of Tonawanda and Mrs. Marie Deutschner of Newfane, N.Y, Funeral services will be held from the Abiding Saviour Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda, Saturday (Dec 16th) at 1 p.m., the Rev, Donald Rehkopf officiating. Interment Friedens Cemetery The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at the Lane Funeral Home. Inc , 8622 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, N.Y.
