BERGHOLTZ, Oct. 29.--A lovely
fall wedding was solemnised Saturday
at the Holy Ghost Lutheran
church when Miss Alice Stoelting,
daughter of Mrs. Albert Stoelting,
became the bride of Lester Wurl,

The Rev- John Kuckenbecker performed
the ceremony 'which was in
German. The church was beautifully
decorated with ferns and
palms and the altar was banked
with roses. Howard Jagow sang
"Fang Deln Werk Mit Jesu An."
The bride, who entered the
church on the arm of the groom,
was lovely in a white satin gown
with long train. The yoke was beautifully
fashioned of lace with a
standing collar. Her long veil of
tulle was edged with lace and fell
from a halo of orange blossoms.
She carried a shower bouquet of
white bridal roses, lilies of the valley
and white pompons.
Miss Cordia Stoelting, cousin of
the bride, was maid of honor. She
wore a gown of blue silk taffeta
with a short jacket to match fashioned
with short sleeves. Gold kid
slippers and a gold tiara completed
her costume. Her bouquet was of
tea roses and yellow pompons tied
with silk ribbon to match her dress.
The bridesmaids, Mrs. Gertrude
Malchow, Miss Gertrude Ferchen,
and Miss Jeanette Mueller, looked
charming in gowns made like that
of the maid of honor in deep pink,
deep blue, and wine colored taffeta
respectfully. All wore gold tiaras
and gold slippers and carried chrysanthemums
and yellow pompons.
The bouquets were tied with ribbon
to match the gowns.
Miss Joan Stoelting, niece of the
bride, was flower girl. She wore a
blue taffeta frock trimmed with
pink bows and carried a basket of
mixed flowers. Master Gordon
Walck, the bride's nephew was ring
bearer.

gowned in a black crepe dress
made with long full sleeves. The
groom's mother also wore black
crepe and both wore corsages of
roses.
Following the ceremony a recep-
tion was held at the home of the
bride. The house was beautifully
decorated with white streamers and
large wedding bells. Dinner was
served at 6 o'clock. Covers were
laid for 35 at the bride's table

wedding c«ke topped with
a miniature bride and groom. Tall
candles and vases of roses flanked
each side. Guests were present from
