  NF Gazette Miss Helena Ferchen Succumbs to Illness of Six Weeks. BERGOLTZ, July 8. - Miss Helena Ferchen, 43 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ferchen of the Buffalo-Falls boulevard, died at the De Graff hospital at North Tonawanda, Sunday noon, following an illness of about six weeks. She was well known and highly respected and was an employee for Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Porter at North Tonawanda for about fifteen years. Besides her parents, she is survived by four brothers, John, Vairius (sic), David and Paul Ferchen; three sisters, Mrs. William De Vantier, and the Misses Charlotte and Martha Ferchen.
