BERGHOLTZ, May 11 -White
carnations and palms decorated the
altar of St. James Lutheran Church,
for the marriage of Miss Marlene
Burrow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Christian Burrow, M. R. 25, Niagara
Falls, to Mr. Glenwood C.
Zimmerman, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Zimmerman, 81 Ward Rd.,
North Tonawanda, with the Rev.
Otto Bruss officiating.
Pews were marked with white
ribbon and carnations. Mrs. Roger
Smith played the organ while Mr.
Smith sang 'Today. O Lord We at
Thine Altar Stand," and 'The
Lord's Prayer."
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a gown of lace
tulle, and satin trimmed with irridescent
sequins. She had a rounded
necklace edged with motifs of
beaded lace. The bodice was fitted
with long lace sleeves. The skirt
was of lace with inserts of pleated
tulle. She had a long train of lace.
Her headpiece was a fitted beaded
helmet effect with a double illusion
scalloped veil. She carried a
white prayer book and a white orchid
with showers of lillies of the
valley.
Sister is Maid of Honor
Miss Harriet Burrow, sister of
the bride was maid of honor. She
wore a gown of blue pleated nylon
net and cotton lace. Her strapless
lace bodice was accented with a
skirt of tiered net and lace. She
wore a detachable net fischu. Her
headpiece was a tiara of net and
silk flowers. She carried a colonial
bouquet of roses, carnations and
shasta daisies.
Miss May Carol Burrow, sister
of the bride and Miss Beverly
Marzolf were the bridesmaids. They
wore gowns fashioned after that of
the maid of honor in the shade of
bitter-sweet. They also carried colonial
bouquets.
Delton Ossman was the best
man and James Burrow, brother of
the bride, and Carl Zimmerman,
brother of the groom, were the ushers.
Mrs. Burrow chose for her daughter's
wedding an afternoon frock
of gray lace, with pink accessories,
a corsage of pink carnations completed
her ensemble. The mother
of the bridegroom chose an afternoon
frock of blue lace and navy
blue accessories and a corsage of
pink carnations. The grandmother
of the bride, Mrs. Albert Milleville.
wore a black dress with white
trim she also wore a corsage of
carnations.
Serve Dinner
Dinner was served immediately
after the ceremony to the immediate
family at the Angle Restaurant.
Reception for 250 guests was
held at the Bergholtz firehall. A
three tiered wedding cake, white
candles and carnations completed
the decorations at the bride's table
where covers were laid for 30.
Out-of-town guests included visitors
from Tonawanda, North Tonawanda
and Buffalo.
The bride chose for her goingaway
ensemble a white wool suit
trimmed with white fox furv Her
matching accessories were black
and white. A white orchid completed
her ensemble. Following a wedding
trip to the Pocono Mountains.
Pa., the couple will reside in
Schultz St.. Bergholtz.
Pre-nuptials affairs were given
hy Mrs. Charles Zimmerman, Mrs.
Carl Zimmerman. Mrs. Eugene Miller.
Mrs. Roger Walck, Miss Beverly
Marzolf, Miss Rose Milleville,
Miss Harriet Burrow. Mrs. Ray
DeVantier, and a dinner at the Red
Coach Inn by the workers of the
Bell Aircraft Corp.
