Harold W. Siegmann Harold W. Siegmann, age 87, of North Tonawanda, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday (Dec. 13, 2009) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on February 1, 1922 to the late William and Martha (Jagow) Siegmann. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was employed at the Chevrolet Plant, in the Town of Tonawanda, for 39 years, retiring as a foreman. Harold was a lifelong member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Wheatfield, was an honorary member of St. Johnsburg Fire Company and enjoyed bowling and golfing.Survivors include his wife, Vivian (Miller) Siegmann; they were united in marriage March 9, 1946; two children, James (Elaine) Siegmann and Jon (Michele) Siegmann, both of North Tonawanda; three grandchildren, Randy (Amy), Kristin and Joseph Siegmann; three great-grandchildren, Emma, Alyssa and Britt; a sister and two brothers, Clarice Poerschke, Richard (Jean) Siegmann and Roger Siegmann, all of Wheatfield; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers, Mildred Witkop, Erma England, Melvin, Donald, Lester and Howard Siegmann. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Ronald D. Oravec on Thursday at 10:30 AM in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield, NY.
