- Marie E. (Moore) Camann, of Williams Road, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was 95.She was born in Lewiston, NY on November 20, 1913, a daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Howe) Moore. She attended area schools. On July 3, 1949, she married Earl Camann. They celebrated 47 years of marriage before his death in January 1997. Mrs. Camann was a billing clerk for Moore Business Forms from 1933–1943, and later worked for Baker Optical as a receptionist and bookkeeper from 1961 until her retirement in 1980.She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Hyde Park Golf League, the LaSalle Yacht Club and its Ladies Auxiliary, and served as Treasurer of her Bridge Club. She enjoyed watching golf on TV, knitting and crocheting. Survivors include three children, Judith (Camann) Blackmon (Jeffry) of Eaton, OH, Beth Camann VanHorn (Paul) of Penfield, Terry Camann (Madeline) of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren, Tonya and John Blackmon, Terry Camann, Jr., Christopher Camann and Meghan Dyster–Colosi and two great-grandchildren, Abby and Minda. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Gary Charles Camann.There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Saturday at 10 AM in Grace Lutheran Church, Cayuga Drive and Pershing Avenue, Niagara Falls. The Rev. Matthew Sorenson will officiate. The interment will be private in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
