  Buffalo News, The (NY) - February 10, 1999 Gertrude H. Frerichs, 83, died Monday (Feb. 8, 1999) in her Rainbow Park home after a long illness. The former Gertrude Bogumil, born in Buffalo, was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Mrs. Frerichs enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid reader. Her husband, Herbert, died in 1962. Survivors include five sons, Nelson of Kuwait, Richard of Ransomville, and Herbert, Adrian and Thomas; a daughter, Diane Wittkop of Kansas City, MO.; 22 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Services were private. Burial was in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria
