The marriage of Miss Luella Winters,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Winters, to Leonard Parsons, took place
on Saturday. August 17th, at the St.
Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church: the
Rev. Edward Nemescby. Sr., officiating.
The church was attractively decorated
with ferns, palms and gladlolas. The
bride, who was given ln marriage by
her father. Robert Winters, wore a
powder blue frock with a large velvet
hat to match. She carried an arm
bouquet of Columbia roses, blue delphiniums
and babysbreath. Miss Viola Winters,
her only attendant, wore a beige
frock with a large velvet hat to match.
She carried an arm bouquet of yellow
tea roses, blue delphiniums and babysbreath.
B. North Parsons, brother of
the groom, acted as best man and the
ushers were William and Oscar Neumann,
cousins of the bride. Mrs. F.
J. Schweitzer played the wedding
march.
The wedding reception was held at
the home of the bride's parents.
After a trip to the Adirondacks. Mr.
and Mrs. Parsons will take up their
residence at 1744 La Salle avenue.
Prenuptlal affairs were a dinner given
by the Board of Education office
girls at the Foxhead Inn, Canada: a
bridge luncheon given by Miss Lillian
Frances Wright; a grocery shower given
by Mrs. Homer Gulp, and a variety
shower given by Miss Viola Winters.
