- Robert Anthony Wolanske, age 52 of Ransomville, NY, formerly of Wheatfield, entered into rest unexpectedly at his residence on July 17, 2024. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 14, 1971; son of Donald and Marina (Posa) Wolanske. A graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, and attended Bryant and Stratton College. Robert was a former member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he was confirmed. He was employed at Strenkoski Brothers Construction Co., Inc. and Cafarella Concrete Co. His hobbies and interest included being an artist, musician, enjoyed the holidays with family, and was a devoted Christian, sharing his knowledge of the Lord.Survivors include his mother, Marina Vickers of Wheatfield; a daughter, Toni Marie Kloc of Orlando, FL; sister, Donna Robertson (Richard Buchman); brother, Steven (Heather) Wolanske; nephew, Matthew Rajczak; and two nieces, Mya and Cali Wolanske.Predeceased by his father, Donald Wolanske; and grandparents, Anthony and Maria Posa, and Wilbert and Esther Wolanske.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Tuesday (July 23) from 11a.m.-1 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Denton White, at 1:00 p.m. following visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice
