ZIMMERMAN - Alfred J.
Zimmerman, 66, of 312 North
Ave.. North Tonawanda. Fridav

Lutheran Nursing Home.
Buffalo, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Zimmerman was a
member of St. Paul Lutheran
Church, the Lutheran Lay
men's League and the Voice
Club of the Niagara Frontier
He was employed by Durez
Division-Hooker Chemical
Corp in North Tonawanda for
38 years, retiring in 1969. He
was a member of Local 2112 at
Hooker and was a former
member of the Tonawanda
Sportsmen's Club.
He is survived by his wife,
Agnes mee Kruk) and two
brothers. Clarence W. of East
Amherst and Norman L.
Zimmerman of Tonawanda
Other survivors are a brother.
Douglas Hartman of North
Tonawanda; three step-sisters,
Mrs. Ralph ( Donna) Belling of
North Tonawanda and Mrs.
Albert (Dorothy) Mueller and
Mrs. Howard (Gertrude)
Schmidt, both of the Town of
Wheatfield, and many nieces
and nephews. Mr. Zimmerman
was the brother of the late
Wallace and John Zimmerman.
The family will receive
friends at the Fretthold
Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver
St. at Ward Road, North Tonawanda,
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. today and tomorrow and
until noon Monday.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m.
Monday in St Paul Lutheran
Church, on Old Falls Boulevard,
North Tonawanda. The
Rev. Enno A. Schmoock will
officiate Interment in St. Pauli
Lutheran Cemetery If so
desired, memorials may be
made to St. Paul Lutheran
